The Engineering and Art of Photography with Prof. Pacifici

To celebrate Engineers Week 2010, join us for lunch and a talk about the engineering and art of photography given by Professor Domenico Pacifici at 12:15 on Friday, February 19th in Barus and Holley 190.

We hope this event will give all Brown students, faculty, and staff a chance to come together as a community to think about how engineering contributes to many aspects of our life, including the technology of photography. We will talk about photography from an engineer's and an artist's perspective. Prof. Pacifici will showcase some of his personal photography and his personal interest in photography.

The goal of National Engineers Week is to showcase the impact of engineering on our society. You can also learn more about the National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges for Engineering at this link: http://www.engineeringchallenges.org/

Join us for this community building event!

Lunch will be provided (first come, first serve) in the kitchen area next to 190.
